JALAPENO BLACK MOROCCAN. Hot vegetable pepper from Morocco (Capsicum annuum). Heat: 10,000-20,000 Scoville units. Medium-ripening, high-yielding variety. Bushes are compact, 50-70 cm tall, moderately leafy, making cultivation and harvesting easier. Fruits are conical, thick-walled, 5-8 cm long, with a broad base. At technical maturity, they are deep ink-brown, turning bright red when fully ripe.
The variety is juicy, with thick walls and moderate but noticeable heat. Ideal for fresh salads, stuffing, grilling, roasting, and pickling. Fruits ripen gradually: first dark green (almost black), then rich red, allowing use at different stages of ripeness. High-yielding with large, fleshy fruits. Suitable for open field, greenhouses, and tunnels. An excellent choice for gardeners.
