JOE’S PINK OXHEART. Is a family heirloom tomato that was grown for many years by farmer Joe Cockman from Missouri, USA. The original name of the variety was lost over time, so the family named it Joe’s Pink Oxheart — in honor of Joe and the fruit's distinctive heart shape. This variety is highly valued by collectors and traditional tomato enthusiasts for its productivity, excellent flavor, and large fruits. The plant is indeterminate and mid-early in ripening. The bushes are strong and reach a height of 1.5 to 1.7 meters, with regular (non-potato) foliage. Requires staking and pruning.
The variety is known for its high resistance to stress and diseases, and adapts well to both open ground and greenhouses. The fruits are large, weighing between 250 and 650 g, heart-shaped, slightly ribbed, and light pink in color. The flesh is meaty, dense, and juicy with few seeds. The flavor is rich, sweet, with a hint of acidity and a classic "old-fashioned" tomato aroma. Perfect for fresh eating, as well as for making juices, sauces, and salads. This variety is especially popular among farmers and gardeners who value traditional tomatoes with history and exceptional taste.
