JUMBO JIM ORANGE. Is a tall, mid-season, and high-yielding tomato variety, perfectly suited for both open ground and greenhouse cultivation. The plants are strong, with sturdy stems, reaching a height of around 1.5 meters. They require staking and pruning to ensure maximum yield. The fruits are round, slightly ribbed near the stem, very meaty and aromatic. The skin is thin yet firm and resistant to cracking. The color ranges from deep red to crimson, depending on ripeness and growing conditions. Fruit weight ranges from 250 to 500 grams, with even larger specimens occasionally found.
The flesh is dense with a velvety texture that literally melts in the mouth. The taste is rich, sweet, with minimal acidity. Thanks to its structure and excellent flavor, these tomatoes are perfect for slicing, making salads, sandwiches, and fresh juices. They are also recommended for children’s and dietary nutrition.
