KOZULA-125 BLACK-PINK ZEBRA. Is an indeterminate, mid-season, high-yielding tomato variety developed by breeder Anna Jankowski. In open ground, the plant reaches a height of about 1.8 meters and requires staking and pruning. The fruits are large, weighing between 160 and 350 grams, round in shape, with a pink-purple color and emerald-green stripes, without the typical spot near the stem. Visually very striking — easily a “five-plus” in beauty.
The skin is thin yet firm and not prone to cracking. The flesh is meaty, juicy, deeply colored, and contains few seeds. The flavor is rich, balanced, sweet with fruity notes and a strong, pleasant aroma. After a cool July, the fruit showed a distinctly fruity taste with a refreshing acidity, making it especially appealing for fresh consumption. Suitable for fresh eating as well as for preparing salads, juices, and sauces.
Thanks to its beautiful appearance, it can also be used to decorate dishes. The seeds of this variety were purchased in Poland. According to the Polish breeder’s description, these tomatoes are “round, juicy fruits with an unforgettable, strong, sweet flavor.” The variety is disease-resistant, has good fruit set even in unfavorable weather, and offers a stable harvest.
