KOZULA-138. A mid-season, medium-height, very productive tomato variety, suitable for both open ground and greenhouses. In open soil, plants reach a height of up to 1.3 meters, forming a strong, well-leafed bush with a robust root system. Requires staking and pruning into 1-2 stems. Fruits are fairly large, weighing between 180 and 360 grams, with a flattened-round shape. Ideal for fresh consumption, in salads, and for making sauces or tomato paste. The variety may occasionally show slight color instability: out of 10 planted bushes, one produced fruit of a different shade.
However, these fruits turned out to be even more attractive and flavorful. Despite rare variations, the variety is highly valued for its excellent yield, large fruits, and outstanding flavor. The main color is dark pink or blackish-pink with characteristic dark green stripes and streaks, giving the tomatoes an unusual, highly decorative appearance. When cut, the flesh is dense, low-seeded, and richly colored. The fruits are very meaty with minimal juice. The taste is rich, slightly sweet, with fruity and wine-like notes, and lacks strong acidity.
