KOZULA-141 PLEATED OXHEART. Another tomato of rare beauty developed by breeder Anna Jankowska (Anna Kozula). This is a young and promising variety that may show variability in color and fruit shape, making it especially appealing to collectors and lovers of exotic tomatoes. It is a mid-season, indeterminate variety that reaches a height of 1.5-1.7 meters in open ground.
The plant is vigorous, well-leaved, and requires pruning and staking. The fruits are large, irregular, and varied in shape, often with pronounced ribbing (pleating), giving them a highly decorative appearance. The coloration is striking: raspberry-red streaks, blotches, and stripes on a yellow-orange background. The interior reveals bright yellow-pink bicolor flesh, just as beautiful as the outside.
VARIETY CHARACTERISTICS
The flesh is dense and meaty, yet juicy and pleasantly crunchy, with a strong tomato aroma. The flavor is rich and sweet with fruity notes, completely without acidity — among the best of the yellow-fruited bicolors. The average fruit weight is 80-150 grams. Suitable for fresh consumption, salads, and attractive culinary presentation.
The variety is resistant to common tomato diseases, adapts well to open-ground cultivation, and delivers stable yields. Fruiting is long and extended, allowing you to enjoy fresh tomatoes throughout the season. Ideal for amateur and collector gardens.
