LAMBADA. A tall, mid-season, exceptionally productive tomato variety. In open ground, plants reach a height of approximately 1.7-1.8 meters. The bushes are strong, well-leafed, with sturdy stems and a well-developed root system. They require staking and shaping. The fruits are a real treasure for farmers and lovers of meaty tomatoes. They are very dense, uniform, crack-free, spotless, hollow-free, and highly transportable with good shelf life. The color is deep red, with a smooth and firm skin. Fruit weight ranges from 170 to 400 grams, with most of the harvest consisting of large, marketable tomatoes. When cut, the flesh is solid and meaty, with almost no juice.
This makes the variety ideal for processing — producing a very thick, aromatic, and flavorful paste or tomato purée. The flesh is sweet, with an intense tomato flavor and excellent aroma. The variety delivers consistently high yields with minimal care. It handles temperature fluctuations well and shows resistance to common tomato diseases. A great choice for both home gardening and commercial cultivation. Thanks to its firmness, taste, and marketable appearance, this variety is perfect for sale. The seeds were imported from France, ensuring high breeding standards.
