LONGHORN, USA. This variety was developed by breeders at J&L Gardens, USA. It’s an oxheart-type tomato with a stunning and unusual coloration. The color is hard to define exactly — it’s purple with chocolate hues on the shoulders, sometimes appearing burgundy. Depending on the light, the fruit looks different from every angle! The base of the fruit is wide and flattened, with pronounced heart-shaped ridges.

Some fruits have a more elongated heart form — they look especially attractive. Deep ribbing runs along the entire fruit from the stem, giving it a refined and distinctive appearance. Fruit weight ranges from 150 to 250 grams, with a predominantly symmetrical, heart-like shape. The skin is purple, with greenish patches on the shoulders.

The flesh is dense and meaty, with small internal chambers, almost no gel, and very few seeds. The flavor is rich, complex, and well-balanced. The plant shows moderate vigor, with slender stems and sparse regular foliage. It has indeterminate growth. The harvest ripens approximately 70 days after transplanting.
