MARSHA'S STARFIGHTER HEART, USA. A variety from the "Star Wars" project line by Marsha Eisenberg (South Florida, USA). The fruits are multicolored, very flavorful, with a strong spicy taste — you can enjoy them like exotic fruits. They are both sweet and slightly tangy. Taste qualities: 5+ stars. The plant grows up to 2.0 meters tall, strong and sturdy stems, with high productivity.

Each cluster has 4–5 fruits weighing 200–250 g. A mid-season, fantastic new variety! A true work of art, nature’s masterpiece — not just a tomato! Throughout the years of collecting and testing tomato varieties, I’ve encountered all sorts of color shades, richness, and transitions — but this one stands out.

The flavor of this tomato made it into the top 10 of my entire collection — that says it all. The moment you cut it open, the room fills with an explosion of spicy aroma. The taste is just as rich: intensely spicy, buttery, juicy, melt-in-your-mouth, sweet!!! Outstanding for beauty! Magnificent in flavor!

🔹 CHARACTERISTICS OF MARSHA'S STARFIGHTER HEART:

This variety typically has high yields and good disease resistance. It’s especially popular among those who prefer tomatoes for salads and sandwiches thanks to its juicy texture and rich flavor. Its high fruiting capacity makes it a favorite among gardeners.

🔹 OTHER TOMATOES:

Beefsteak tomato varieties are prized for their large, fleshy fruits and intense flavor. They are often used in sandwiches, salads, and sauces due to their juiciness and richness. They come in various colors, including red, yellow, pink, and even black. Popular beefsteak varieties include "Big Beef", "Beefsteak Golden Gait", and "Black Beefsteak".

These types usually require good staking and support, as their fruits can be quite large and heavy. Our store offers a huge selection of such varieties and more. The collection includes over a thousand unique tomatoes from around the world. We're always happy to help you discover a new favorite for your garden!

I grew it in a protected environment - in a greenhouse. The plants were tall and vigorous, with drooping foliage, reaching over 2 meters in height. Very productive, forming clusters of 6-7 elongated, heart-shaped fruits. The fruits clearly show a kind of "artistic patterning" decorative lines, and there’s a faint anthocyanin blush at the top.

The shapes vary: some are plump, rounded hearts, others more elongated with a distinctive tip. But all have firm, juicy flesh with a sweet-tart flavor.

Grew it in a greenhouse. The plants reached over 2 meters tall. They’re quite sturdy, although the leaves droop a bit, like many heart-shaped varieties. The fruits are "striped and patterned" hearts, weighing up to 350 grams, with dark red flesh inside. A very productive and very sweet variety! One of my favorites from last season. Overall, I’m thrilled! Next year, I plan to grow Beefsteak Marsh and compare it with Heart.

A gorgeous variety - very beautiful, flavorful, and productive! I didn’t get any really large fruits, but the yield was great. It’s a mid-season variety.

Highly recommended, a standout for me. A beautiful, productive, and very tasty variety, definitely the gem of the season among the exotics, along with Beefsteak Marsh. It’s an indeterminate that I grew in two stems.

The fruits are plump or elongated hearts, up to 300 grams, red-brown with golden-green stripes. The flesh is sweet 😋 and deep burgundy in color. Toward the end of the season, when there’s less warmth and light, the fruits become lighter in color.

Height: 1.8+ meters, mid-season. Regular, drooping foliage. Trained into 2 stems. Each cluster has 4 or more fruits, weighing 200-300 grams. The fruits are elongated-heart shaped, orange-brown with ornamental green vertical stripes and anthocyanin shoulders. The flesh is dense, raspberry-purple or cherry-colored, and rich, with an excellently balanced flavor. A versatile variety.

Varietal mix-up: unfortunately, in some cases, the seeds you receive may contain a mix-up — when a different variety is sent instead of the one you ordered. If this happens, please let us know right away. To help us resolve the issue, provide the following details:

  • the name of the variety you ordered and which one you received instead;

  • the approximate date of purchase (month and year);

  • how exactly the variety differs.

Please note: if the mix-up is due to the variety's instability or natural segregation (especially with rare blue or variegated types), we cannot influence that. These are the results of the breeders’ work, and such cases can occur.
