MONTE ROSA. Medium-sized, mid-season, super-productive and super-tasty variety. This popular Spanish variety, well-known in Europe, came to us from Poland, where it also became extremely popular — and rightly so. We rated it highest across all criteria. Very high productivity. The flavor is sweet and sour, pleasant and harmonious. The first fruits, as they ripen, literally pile up on each other, with some weighing up to 800 g.
By the end of the growing season, the average fruit weight is 200–300 g. Very thick skin, very sweet and dense flesh with almost no seeds. Up to 15–20 fruits can be found on a single cluster. This tomato requires very strong support both under and above the clusters. We believe this tomato will become your favorite. The bush grows up to 1.4 meters in open ground, very sturdy.
Each cluster holds 5–6 fruits weighing up to 300 g. Shape — round barrel-like, with slight ribbing near the stem. Color — delicate pink. Perfect commercial appearance, can be cut and transported with clusters, stores well. When cut, the flesh is dark pink with small seed chambers. Excellent for canning — they do not crack.
