ORANGE GHABBANA. Is a rare and relatively new tomato variety developed by breeder Tom Wagner (USA). This indeterminate, mid-season, and productive variety is highly appreciated for its exotic coloring and refined taste. The fruits are exceptionally decorative and eye-catching — predominantly bright orange with a warm ochre hue, adorned with olive-green stripes that give the tomatoes a unique and exotic appearance. The shape is slightly flattened and round.
Average fruit weight ranges from 120 to 250 grams, although larger specimens can be achieved with proper care. The flesh is mustard-golden in color, multi-chambered, juicy, and buttery-soft. Its texture is delicate and literally melts in your mouth. The flavor is well-balanced and rich, with subtle fruity notes and a barely perceptible sweet-spicy tang. When lightly salted, the flavor becomes even more expressive, turning these tomatoes into a true gourmet delight.
We’ve added this variety to our list of favorites for growing in challenging conditions. Ideal for fresh eating, salads, appetizers, and sauces. Thanks to their unusual appearance, they are also perfect for creative plating and presentation. These rare and unique fruits will be a true ornament to your garden and your table.
