ORANGE ICE CREAM is a large-fruited variety with characteristic flattened fruits of a rich orange color. One of its features is that the flesh is several shades darker than the outer skin, which becomes especially noticeable when the fruit is cut. The plant reaches approximately 1.3 m in height when grown outdoors, producing 5–6 fruits per truss, with an average weight of 300–550 g. The yield is high. The fruits have medium firmness, are meaty, with juicy walls and small seed chambers. The interior contains plenty of dense flesh without excessive hollow spaces. The tomatoes are not prone to cracking and retain their shape well.
The flavor is rich, bright and juicy, but without excess liquid. Sweetness and moderate acidity are well balanced, complemented by a pronounced tomato aroma. The flesh is tender yet firm enough to slice easily. The variety is well suited for fresh eating, salads, sandwiches, slicing and preparing various homemade dishes.
