PINEAPPLE. A mid-season tomato variety with a ripening period of 110-115 days from emergence to harvest. The plant is indeterminate and tall-growing, forming powerful, well-leafed bushes reaching 1.5-2.0 meters in height, and requires staking and training. The variety is characterized by stable growth and high vitality throughout the entire season. The fruits are very large, flat-round in shape, often slightly ribbed near the stem. The average fruit weight is 250-300 grams, with some specimens growing even larger. The coloration is exceptionally striking: rich yellow to orange-yellow with pronounced yellow veins and a pinkish center, giving the sliced fruit a decorative “pineapple-like” appearance.
Toward the end of the season, the fruits may develop warmer, reddish tones. The flesh is dense, extremely meaty yet juicy, with very few seeds. The flavor is outstanding — intensely sweet, completely free of acidity, with a light fruity aroma. When fully ripe, the fruits reveal a rich, harmonious taste, making this variety especially prized by gourmets. The variety is highly productive: each plant forms 4-5 clusters, with 3-4 large fruits per cluster. The fruits have good keeping quality and tolerate storage well. Pineapple is rightfully considered one of our favorites, combining exotic appearance, exceptional flavor, and reliable yield.
