PURPLE PEAR BRANDYWINE. A tall, mid-season, and highly productive tomato variety that performs excellently in open-ground conditions. The plants develop strong, sturdy bushes up to about 1.5 meters tall with good foliage coverage. The fruits are large, rich pink in color, with an original pear shape, very dense and meaty, with thick walls and pronounced internal partitions. The average fruit weight ranges from 150 to 300 g, with some specimens reaching even larger sizes.
The flesh is almost free of cavities, contains few seeds, and has a rich, slightly sweet flavor with a mild tang and a bright tomato aroma. This variety is highly versatile: the fruits are perfect for fresh consumption, salads, hot dishes, and casseroles, as well as for processing into thick juices, paste, sauces, and other tomato products. Thanks to their dense texture, the tomatoes store and transport well while maintaining their attractive appearance and flavor.
