RAMIRO ORANGE. An orange variety of the famous sweet pepper Ramiro, originally from Spain. The variety is mid-season and forms compact bushes about 50–70 cm tall. Despite its elongated shape, which resembles a hot pepper, this is a sweet variety with a very pleasant and rich flavor. The fruits have a beautiful bright orange color and an elongated cylindrical shape with pronounced ridges. Individual peppers are approximately 20–30 cm long and usually weigh 80–150 g. The walls are of medium thickness, sufficiently juicy and fleshy, making the fruits versatile in use.
It can be used for canning, making lecho, roasting, and grilling. The elongated fruits are also well suited for drying and later use in homemade paprika. The variety will be especially interesting to lovers of sweet peppers with an original shape and bright coloring. Compact plants, large elongated fruits, and a pronounced sweet flavor make it an excellent choice both for fresh consumption and for a wide variety of homemade preserves.
