RASPBERRY NOSE OF SERGEANT PEPPER. An absolute novelty from Sofia Saakova, attracting attention not only with its unusual fruit shape but also with its outstanding flavor. This variety combines the recognizable, mild and sweet taste of the legendary Sergeant Pepper with a completely new fruit form. There is practically no pronounced tomato acidity in the flavor; instead, you will notice sweetness, juiciness, delicate spicy notes and a rich aroma. This is an early-maturing, indeterminate variety with a strong, well-leafed plant. In open ground, plants can reach up to 1.8 m in height, so they require reliable support and tying. The fruit trusses develop very well and are literally loaded with tomatoes, with approximately 5–8 fruits per truss.
The first fruits typically weigh 150–200 g, while from the second truss onward they often become larger and develop an even more pronounced “nose.” The distinctive feature of the variety is its unique truffle-like fruit shape with a characteristic elongated tip at the blossom end. Thanks to their unusual shape, the tomatoes immediately attract attention in any collection. The flesh is tender, juicy and literally melts in the mouth, without tough fibers. The flavor is very sweet, aromatic, spicy and rich, with pleasant juiciness and a smooth aftertaste. An excellent choice for fresh eating, salads and tasting straight from the garden, especially for those who appreciate sweet, meaty and unusual collector tomatoes.
