REGINA'S YELLOW. The origin of this variety is unknown, but its seeds have been sold in the USA since 1992. This tomato is listed among the top 100 varieties featured in Carolyn Male's book "100 Heirloom Tomatoes for the American Garden." It is a mid-season bicolor with large, vibrant fruits. The plant is strong and reaches up to 1.5 meters in open ground. The leaves are large and sprawling. The yield is above average, and there are no small fruits.
Each cluster typically produces 3 to 4 fruits weighing between 250 and 350 g. The fruits are round-flattened in shape, free of cracks and blemishes. The best specimens are large, bright yellow with a rich red blush. The flesh is extremely tender and juicy, with a fruity aroma — sweet and melting in the mouth.
