ROMA ORANGE. A low-growing, mid-season, high-yielding tomato variety. In open ground, plants usually reach a height of about 60 cm, making them easy to care for and not requiring complicated staking. The bushes are semi-determinate, compact, with large, slightly potato-like dark green leaves. The plants produce numerous clusters that set an abundant crop of attractive plum-shaped fruits. The tomatoes are elongated, uniform, 7-10 cm long, with an appealing appearance and excellent keeping quality. The flesh is dense, meaty, with a pronounced sweetness and rich flavor without excessive acidity.
The fruits are excellent for fresh consumption in salads and slices, as well as for preserving: whole-fruit pickling, marinating, and making thick sauces. Thanks to their firmness and lack of wateriness, the tomatoes retain their shape well during heat treatment. The variety is distinguished by its unpretentiousness, stable yield even in unfavorable seasons, and resistance to fruit cracking. An ideal choice for gardeners who value taste, versatility, and ornamental appeal in their beds.
