ROYAL GIANT LADIES FROM TÂRGOVIȘTE (ROSII DOMNESTI GIGANT DE TARGOVISTE), Romania. A tall, mid-late Romanian variety with a truly royal character. The plants are powerful, sturdy, energetic, reaching about 1.8 m in height. The bush forms strong shoots and large, dark green foliage capable of supporting the weight of impressive fruits. Requires staking and shaping to achieve the best results. The fruits are bright red, large, meaty, weighing up to 700 g.
The shape is mostly flat-round, uniform, with a pronounced tomato texture. The flesh is dense, sugary, with a rich sweet taste and a full aroma. When cut open — it's solid, juicy "meat" with a minimal number of seeds. The variety is distinguished by high yield and long fruiting — continues to produce fruit until the very frosts. Excellent for both greenhouses and open ground. A true giant with a southern temperament and magnificent taste qualities.
