ROSS RED SALAD. A mid-early, low-growing (about 1 m), high-yielding cocktail variety. A family heirloom of the Ross family from Vancouver (Canada), known since 1950. The plant is indeterminate with regular foliage, characterized by a stable and prolonged yield from mid-season until frost. It is well suited for regions with short summers and cool climates.
The fruits weigh 30-60 g, are predominantly round, sometimes slightly oval, red in color. The flesh is meaty and juicy. The taste is classic "old-fashioned" tomato, well-balanced, with a pleasant combination of sweetness and light acidity. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, salads, and light processing.
