SERGEANT STRAWBERRY. A mid-season, incredibly successful variety, whose fruit shape is a true work of art. The variety’s parents are the famous Mrs. Schlaubach's Strawberry and Sergeant Peppers. From both parents, the variety inherited the best traits: from Sergeant – the legendary mild flavor without sharp tomato acidity; from Strawberry – the beautiful shape of large fruits! The plant grows up to 1.5 m in open ground, slightly slender, sprawling, with drooping leaves. The hearts are raspberry-colored, with a distinct pointed tip; some fruits have flattened tips — very beautiful! At the very end of the season, some fruits develop light blue shoulders. Fruit weight is 300-400 grams, yield is above average. The taste is very worthy — spicy, aromatic, juicy, and very sweet! The flesh melts in your mouth, with no tough fibers inside.
