SGT PEPPERS BICOLOR. A spectacular tall tomato variety of modern breeding. It is a novelty bred by Tatiana Nagle (Latvia) and obtained by crossing Sgt. Pepper’s × Yellow Cookie. The plants are powerful, 1.6-1.9 m tall, with excellent vigor and high resistance to fruit load. The variety is mid-season, characterized by stable and prolonged fruiting until the very frost. The color is unusual and attractive: orange-pink, with a characteristic anthocyanin blush on the shoulders, which intensifies with good lighting and temperature fluctuations. The fruits are very decorative, elongated heart-shaped, with an elegant pointed tip, slightly ribbed.
The fruit weight varies widely — from 60 to 250 g, with the main part of the crop being 100-200 g. The flesh is juicy, tender, meaty. The taste is excellent, harmonious: distinctly sweet, without sharp acidity, with a slight tang and a subtle, noble aftertaste characteristic of anthocyanin tomatoes. The fruits are of universal purpose — perfect for fresh consumption, salads. Valued for its very high yield, original appearance, and excellent taste. An excellent choice for collectors and lovers of unusual, delicious tomatoes.
