SGT PEPPERS. An exotic variety bred by Jason Hines, combining the refined beauty of the bush and truly impressive yield. Tall (up to 1.5 m), mid-season, with a long fruiting period. The plant is slender, with thin foliage, not dense, of a neat type, yet demonstrates a very high yield. The fruits are heart-shaped, weighing from 140 to 350 grams, extraordinarily striking — pink with rich blue-violet (anthocyanin) shoulders. At full ripeness, the tomatoes look truly decorative and attract attention.
Inside, the fruits are bright red, very meaty and juicy, with a small number of seeds. The taste is harmonious, rich, with a pleasant tomato aroma and a sweetish aftertaste. The flesh is dense, "sugary," excellent for fresh salads and slicing. The variety is valued for its combination of exotic coloration, excellent taste, and high yield. The elegant bush and striking fruits make it a true star of the collection and an ornament to the garden.
