SHOROK-SHARY. A mid-season sweet pepper variety of Ukrainian origin, distinguished by its stable yield and excellent taste qualities. The variety is well adapted to various weather conditions and shows reliable results already early in the season. The plant is compact, bushy, 45-60 cm tall (up to 70 cm under favorable conditions), with sturdy shoots and good foliage. The bushes do not require complex shaping, are resistant to adverse weather factors and blossom end rot, making the variety especially valuable for open-field cultivation. A reliable, productive variety.
The fruits are large, weighing 100-150 g (individual ones up to 180 g), of a bell-type, with shapes varying from conical to cuboid. During ripening, the color changes from ivory to a deep orange-red, dark red at biological maturity. The flesh is thick-walled (about 8 mm), very tender, juicy, with a pleasant pronounced sweet taste and a rich pepper aroma, without bitterness. The variety is of universal use: it is excellent for fresh consumption, salads, stuffing, baking, and home canning. The fruits have good keeping quality and transportability.
