SLIVKA GURMAN. The origin of this variety is unknown, though indirect evidence suggests it may be from Ukraine. This is a tall (up to 1.8 m), early-ripening tomato variety with an exotic appearance and outstanding flavor qualities. The plants are indeterminate, with vigorous growth, and require staking and proper pruning. They are resistant to temperature fluctuations and thrive both in open ground and greenhouses. The fruits are elongated, elegant in shape, with a pointed tip — very beautiful and unique. Their primary color is pink with a dense purple-black overlay, giving them an especially attractive look.
Average fruit weight is 50-80 grams. The flesh is dense, meaty, without voids, and has a rich, sweet taste — rated 5 out of 5 in flavor. The fruits are crack-resistant, store well, and transport easily while retaining their marketable appearance. This variety is perfect for whole-fruit canning, pickling, and making sauces. A great choice for both home gardens and commercial farming, thanks to its high yield and resilience in challenging weather conditions. Highly recommended for those who value flavor and unusual tomato beauty in their garden.
