SUNRISE BUMBLEBEE. An indeterminate tomato variety with cocktail-type fruits, small, oval-shaped, with a slight pointed tip. Plants reach a height of up to 2 meters and require staking and support. Fruit weight reaches up to 20 grams, making them convenient for snacks, salads, and decorative plating. The fruits have a yellow base with raspberry-pink stripes that become more intense and wider as they ripen. The fruits are firm and resilient, with a honey-like flavor. By the end of the season, the sweetness and flavor intensity become even more pronounced, making them especially enjoyable fresh.
This variety is suitable for growing both outdoors and in greenhouses. Plants require regular pruning, tolerate stressful conditions well, and produce fruit over a long period. This variety was developed by Fred Hempel of Artisan Seeds, known for their original and decorative tomato hybrids. The fruits are ideal for fresh salads, snacks, and slicing, as well as for canning and pickling. Their bright coloration makes them attractive for festive and decorative dishes.
