SUPERSTEAK. A mid-season tomato variety distinguished by high productivity and consistent fruiting, even in changeable weather conditions. The plants develop vigorous bushes reaching 1.5–2 metres in height, so they require support and tying. The variety combines large fruit size with good fruit set, maintaining its ability to produce a crop even when temperatures fluctuate.
The fruits are very attractive, large and meaty, with an average weight of around 450 g. Under favourable conditions, individual tomatoes can reach 900 g. The flesh is firm, juicy and sweet, with a rich, pleasant flavour. The fruits are almost completely filled with flesh, without hollow spaces, making them especially appealing to lovers of large, meaty tomatoes.
One of the variety’s key advantages is its earlier fruit set compared with other large-fruited, mid-season tomatoes. The fruits begin to set approximately 15 days earlier, allowing an earlier harvest of large, delicious tomatoes. The variety combines high productivity with large fruit size and is well suited to home gardens.
The variety has genetic resistance to several common diseases, including late blight, tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, bacterial leaf spot and root-knot nematodes. This helps the plants maintain good health and productivity throughout the growing season. The large, meaty fruits are excellent for fresh salads, juices, sauces and other types of home processing.
