SYZRAN PIPOCHKA. An old heirloom variety passed down through generations, originating from the city of Syzran in the Volga region of Russia. It was named after this city. The plant grows up to 1.5 meters tall in open ground, strong and sturdy, with thick stems. Fruits are pink, uniform in size — ranging from 80 to 150 g.
A mid-season plum-type tomato with a distinctive small “nipple” at the tip. The flavor is well-balanced: mostly sweet, with a slight tang. High-yielding variety. The fruit shape is round-plum, slightly elongated, with a characteristic “pip” at the top. All tomatoes are consistent in shape and weight. The skin is glossy and deep pink.
The flesh is dense, dark pink, two-chambered, with thick walls. The taste is tender, sweet, and very pleasant. Plants are large, with regular foliage, indeterminate (unlimited growth type). They produce abundantly at the start of the season and continue reliably until the first frosts.
