TEXWINE. This variety was developed through the meticulous work of breeder Bill Jeffers by crossing the famous Brandywine and Neves Azorean Red forms. It was specifically created for cultivation in hot and dry climates, demonstrating high resilience to stressful conditions and stable fruiting even under limited water supply. The plants are medium-ripening and highly productive, forming dense, strong bushes that reach about 1 meter in height in open ground. The bushes are heavily laden with fruits, creating an impressive display of harvest. The fruits of this variety are pink, large, typically weighing 250-450 g, with a round-flattened shape and firm skin.
According to historical data, individual fruits can reach up to 1.5 kg. The flesh is dense, meaty, multi-chambered, and juicy, making these tomatoes ideal both for fresh consumption and culinary processing — salads, sauces, and canning. The taste of the fruits combines sweetness with a slight acidity, deservedly rated 5 out of 5 for flavor. The aroma is pleasant and moderate, characteristic of classic Brandywine varieties, making them especially appealing to gourmets. The seeds of this variety were purchased by us in the UK, ensuring high quality and authenticity. Recommended for cultivation in sunny areas without regular watering.
