THE SEVERED EAR. Despite its rather provocative name, this variety became one of the favorites of the past season due to its expressive appearance and excellent taste. It truly attracts attention and is memorable at first sight. The plant is tall, reaching about 1.5 meters in open ground. The bush is vigorous, well-developed, consistently forms a yield and is distinguished by good fruit set. The fruits are of an elegant heart shape, raspberry-purple in color, with neat longitudinal ribs. Weight varies from 200 to 350 g.
The upper part of the fruits, from the stem, is completely covered with a rich, inky anthocyanin, creating striking dark shoulders. The color contrast emphasizes the shape and makes the tomatoes especially decorative. The appearance is almost perfect — without cracks, without green spots, with a smooth, dense skin and a bright, uniform color. In cross-section, the flesh is purple, juicy, and fleshy. The taste is harmonious — sweet with a slight tartness, rich, and aromatic. This is a variety with a pronounced character and excellent taste qualities. The variety has taken its place among the best in the collection.
