TOMANDE. An indeterminate, mid-season, and high-yielding tomato variety. In open ground, plants reach a height of 1.8-2 meters, forming strong, vigorous, and well-leafed bushes that easily support the load of numerous fruit clusters. The fruits are deep red with an attractive shine, firm, meaty, and at the same time very juicy. Their flavor is well-balanced, sweet with a refreshing hint of acidity. Average fruit weight ranges from 150 to 300 grams, with some giant tomatoes reaching 700-750 g, usually formed from double (fused) blossoms.
When cut open, such tomatoes resemble a blooming flower, displaying a unique and beautiful inner structure. The main crop consists of medium-sized fruits. This variety is suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing into juices, sauces, and salads. It is characterized by consistent yields, good fruit set even in hot summers or cooler weather. Thanks to its qualities, it can become a true highlight in any collection of large and meaty tomatoes.
