TOPOL. A well-known Bulgarian tomato variety that has gained popularity thanks to its combination of high productivity, attractive appearance, and excellent flavor. It is a mid-season, tall-growing variety; in open ground, plants reach about 1.5 meters in height, forming strong, vigorous bushes with good foliage. The plants are notable for their ability to carry heavy fruit loads and for their stable yields even under unfavorable weather conditions. The fruits are flat-round in shape, large, weighing 250-400 g and often more.
They have a rich red color with an appealing glossy sheen on the outside, and inside — tender flesh with light marbling. The tomatoes are meaty, juicy, and aromatic, with a pronounced sweet taste balanced by a light acidity, which makes them highly versatile. This variety is especially valued for its beautiful marketable appearance and excellent flavor qualities. Suitable both for fresh consumption (salads, sandwiches) and for processing into sauces and juices.
