VIRGINIA SWEETS, USA. Tall, mid-late, very productive variety. Replanted for comparing fruit weight with previous sowing. The plant is strong, 1.8 m in open ground. Yield is above average, with 4–5 fruits per cluster; the first cluster had smaller ones, followed by fruits weighing 450–900 g. Fruit shape – flattened.
Plant height as of 15.07.19 was 165 ± 3 cm, on 15.07.20 – 175 ± 3 cm, and on 15.07.21 – 180 ± 4 cm. Clusters are small, with 2–5 flowers, but numerous on one plant. In 2021, one plant had 30 large and 2 medium fruits as of 30.07.21. In 2019, first ripe fruits appeared on July 12. In 2020 – on July 23–25.
In 2021, the first fruits began ripening on July 27–29. If the plant retains flowers and fruit sets, it will delight you not only with flavor but with great yield. Beautiful on the outside, stunning in the cut, and incredibly tasty. One of the best every season. Amazing productivity, consistent large fruits that don’t shrink by autumn.
VIRGINIA SWEETS FRUIT & FLAVOR
Fleshy, multi-chambered fruits, fairly dense, very juicy, tender, sweet, highly aromatic, and exquisitely tasty. Too beautiful to bite into in the field. In 2016, there were two fruits with large cracks. But during 2017–2021, not a single crack occurred. This tomato is pure pleasure!
Highly recommended for those who value both looks and flavor. Medium density, tender and very aromatic. The taste is impressive: melts in your mouth, almost no acidity, sweet, juicy! Top score for taste! You can order this tomato through our website shopping cart. Worldwide shipping within a month.
