WALTER'S CANDY STRIPES. A unique tomato that deserves special attention in our collection. This variety originates from the USA and was developed from the famous Candy Stripe by breeder Walter. The plants are indeterminate and mid-season, easily reaching over 1.5 m in open ground, forming strong, densely foliated bushes that can carry a heavy load of fruit without drooping. Their standout feature is the bright, glossy skin with a striking pattern: a sunny orange-yellow base streaked with crimson veins and shimmering yellow and pink stripes.
The fruits are large, averaging 200-400 g, and with proper care and good conditions can reach an impressive 600 g. The flesh is meaty, tender, and juicy, with few seeds, making it especially pleasant for fresh eating. The flavor deserves the highest praise—sweet, richly fruity, with delicate honey notes. This variety offers stable yields and is perfect for salads, fresh consumption, attractive slices, and stunning vegetable platters.
