ABSINTHE, USA. The hit of the 2018 season! Indeterminate, mid-season, super-productive green variety. Tall, lush, well-foliated plants. No small fruits—weights range from 300 to 900 g (according to foreign sources, fruits can weigh up to 1400 g). Fruits are light green with an amber blush when ripe. Flesh is light green, transparent, with pink streaks; the gel is emerald.
An excellent tomato for lovers of green varieties, with a sweet and slightly spicy flavor, and the rich aroma of heirloom tomatoes. We rated this variety 5+ for taste and productivity. Green flesh with a pink veil, well-balanced acidity. Prone to concentric cracking. This variety enchanted us with its outstanding taste. Long shelf life and suitable for drying.
A variety from Indiana, bred and developed by Alan Bishop, it was named for the color of its flesh resembling the famous spirit. Developed from a cross of Emeraude, Aunt Ruby's German Green, and Brandywine. Large round fruits, slightly flattened and ribbed at the top. Green marbled skin with dark green veining. The top develops a pink veil when fully ripe.
