BEEFSTEAK ALBA. An interesting Minusinsk variety with a mysterious history. It is assumed that it may have foreign roots, but how it ended up in Minusinsk is not fully known. This intrigue only adds to the variety's charm. Tall, mid-season, indeterminate type. The plants are very vigorous, with strong growth and excellent development energy. They form sturdy clusters and consistently demonstrate high yields both in greenhouses and in favorable open ground conditions. The fruits are large, round-flat, with light, neat ribbing.
The color is delicate pink, uniform, and attractive. The fruit weight in our conditions ranges from 250 to 750 g. A true classic beefsteak. The flesh is dense, meaty, juicy, with a minimal amount of seeds. The taste is sweet, rich, without excess acidity — typical of the best pink large-fruited varieties. The variety is valued for its combination of size, taste, and yield. This is the tomato that looks beautiful on the table and fully lives up to its name — meaty, substantial, the "beefsteak" of the tomato world.
