BROWN BEAR. A mid-season tomato variety suitable for both open ground and greenhouse cultivation. The plant develops strong, vigorous bushes that reach about 2 meters in open ground. The bushes have good foliage density and show excellent tolerance to temperature fluctuations, making the variety easy to grow and maintain. The fruits are large, flat-round in shape, weighing on average 160-220 g, although with proper care individual fruits can reach up to 400 g. The tomatoes are especially striking thanks to their unusual coloration: at full maturity, the skin turns an olive-green shade with possible pink-brown spots and soft iridescence.
This unique appearance makes the fruits attractive both for fresh consumption and for premium vegetable assortments. The flesh is dense, very juicy and sweet, with a rich aroma. Its pink-green color is typical for rare multicolored varieties. The texture is delicate, almost melting, with few seed chambers. The flavor is well-balanced, naturally sweet with light fruity notes — a quality highly appreciated by tasters and collectors. The variety is ideal for fresh salads, slicing, and preparing sauces and juices with a rich color and aroma. It is also suitable for farmers’ markets and specialty tomato sets, as it stands out both visually and in taste.
