CASCADE VILLAGE BLUE. A mid-season variety, beautiful, tasty, and high-yielding. A strong plant grows up to 1.4 meters in open ground, with 6–7 fruits per cluster, each weighing 85–90 grams. Max fruits can reach up to 100 g. The shape is round, with most of the fruit near the stem covered in deep inky anthocyanin, while the bottom part is ochre-golden. The flavor is excellent – sweet with a slight tang, and very juicy. Very high disease resistance. Very practical!

This is a Tom Wagner variety, developed from a cross between the Green Zebra and an unknown blue variety. The fruits are among the most beautiful blue-colored tomatoes – like a Christmas tree on your garden bed. The flesh is tender, with a rich flavor and a hint of spice. The variety is an update of old archived strains. The flesh is dense but not tough, and the skin is firm. Suitable for canning. Continues setting fruit until frost. Top marks for appearance!

I’ve been growing it since 2020. It’s an early variety with plants about 1.6 meters tall. The fruits are round, around 60 grams, blue with the bottom turning pink when ripe. The taste is pleasant.

  • the approximate date of purchase (month and year);

  • how exactly the variety differs.

Please note: if the mix-up is due to the variety's instability or natural segregation (especially with rare blue or variegated types), we cannot influence that. These are the results of the breeders’ work, and such cases can occur.

If the error is on our part, we will gladly offer a replacement or refund for the specific variety. Replacements are available within 6 months from the date of purchase.
