CASCADE YELLOW, USA. Early-ripening variety. This is something incredible, a true “octopus” among tomatoes. The plants reach a height of up to 1.8–1.9 meters, making them quite impressive. The stems are very strong and sturdy, with thick stalks providing excellent support for the fruits. The clusters can be either semi-complex or complex.
This gives the plant a good yield throughout the growing season. The average fruit weight is 25–30 grams. One of the unique features of this variety is that fruit sets form along the entire length of the bush throughout the season, even until the first frosts. The fruits have two seed chambers, making them very meaty and juicy.
TASTE AND APPEAL
The appearance of the fruits is flawless: they do not crack, do not get damaged, and are resistant to diseases, making them ideal for any growing conditions. The skin is dense but not tough, which preserves their freshness and marketable appearance even during long storage.
The taste is very sweet, with a pronounced meatiness and juiciness. They have a strong sweet note, making them especially delicious and popular for fresh salads as well as for canning and processing. The leaves resemble potato leaves, adding extra ornamental value to the plant.
Combined with high disease resistance, stable fruiting, and good adaptability to different climates, this variety is deservedly a favorite among gardeners and tomato enthusiasts. By growing these plants, you will get not only wonderful fruits but also a beautiful sight in your garden or vegetable plot.
