CHAMPAGNE, France. An old French tomato variety known for its elegance and high decorative appeal. The plant is vigorous, with powerful development and a large number of side shoots. The variety is indeterminate, can reach over 2 m in height with proper care, requiring staking and shaping. The fruits are small, light yellow, with an almost transparent, slightly golden coloration reminiscent of champagne — hence the name. They are very pale but simultaneously attractive and unusual in appearance.
The leaf is simple, dense, typical of classic tomatoes, giving the bush a healthy and "lush" appearance.
