EAGLE HEART (ORLINOE SERDTSE). A popular mid-early tomato variety, created by Siberian breeders, known for its large fruit size, stable yield, and excellent taste. It performs particularly well in protected ground conditions. The plant is determinate, vigorous, and medium-sized. In open ground, it reaches a height of about 1.5 m, and in a greenhouse, up to 1.7-1.8 m. The bush is strong, with a developed root system and medium foliage. It requires mandatory staking and pruning. It shows the best results when trained to 2 stems. The variety is recommended for growing in greenhouses and hothouses, where maximum yield can be achieved, but it can also produce a decent result in open ground. The color at full ripeness is raspberry-pink, very attractive.
The period from germination to the beginning of ripening is 100-120 days. The first inflorescence is laid above the 7th leaf, and subsequent ones every 1-2 leaves. The inflorescences are simple. The fruits are large, heart-shaped, often with slight ribbing, weighing 200-400 g. The flesh is pink, fleshy, dense, sugary on the cut, with 3-4 seed chambers and a small number of seeds. The fruits are resistant to cracking and hold their shape well. The taste is excellent, sweet, with a high content of sugars, vitamins, and dry matter, which makes this variety especially valuable for fresh consumption. The purpose is salad: ideal for fresh salads, slicing, and home cooking. The variety combines large, beautiful fruits, a rich taste, and reliable yield.
