GIFT OF MOLDOVA. A high-yielding mid-early variety of sweet pepper, time-tested and widely distributed in Eastern European countries. It is valued for its stability, uniform yield, and excellent taste qualities. The growing period is 120-125 days from emergence to technical maturity. The plants are compact, strong, well-leafed, and produce a uniform harvest even under less-than-ideal growing conditions. The fruits are smooth, of a neat conical shape, uniform in size. The average weight is 100-110 g. The walls are 5-6 mm thick, the flesh is juicy, dense, and sweet, without bitterness.
The peppers hold their shape well and have an attractive marketable appearance. At technical maturity, the fruits are light green; at biological maturity, they are deep red, with uniform coloring. Thanks to its dense structure and juicy flesh, the variety is suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing. A pepper of universal purpose: excellent for salads, stuffing, stewing, canning, and freezing. The variety is distinguished by good transportability and stable yield.
