GOURMET STRIPED GIANT. Is an early variety with a strong, fast-growing plant of classic structure. When grown outdoors, the plant reaches about 1.8 m in height and produces simple and semi-compound trusses. The fruits are large and elongated, resembling plum-shaped finger tomatoes, with a small pointed tip. They weigh approximately 130–160 g. The fruits are very uniform in size and shape and ripen evenly, while remaining well attached to the trusses.
The fruit coloration depends on growing conditions and the amount of sunlight received. With plenty of sunlight, an anthocyanin tint develops more strongly on the shoulders, creating a blue-purple coloration. With less sunlight, this coloration is less pronounced. The tomatoes have a firm texture, transport well and have good storage qualities. The variety is suitable for fresh eating, salads, slicing and preserving.
