ISIS BRANDY. A mid-season cherry tomato, developed through a successful cross between two well-known varieties — Isis Candy and Brandywine Yellow. This variety originates from Germany and was created and developed by breeder Reinhart Kraft. It was first introduced in 2008 in the Seed Saver Yearbook. The hybridization combines the best qualities of both parent lines: refined flavor, attractive coloration, and stable yield.
The plants are tall, reaching up to 2 meters in height. They form strong, well-leaved bushes with excellent fruit set. The fruits are bicolored: on a golden-orange background appear raspberry or pink-red streaks and blush, creating an appealing marbled appearance. When fully ripe, the skin becomes nearly completely red, while the flesh remains golden-orange.
VARIETY CHARACTERISTICS:
Fruits are small, weighing 40-60 grams, round or slightly oval in shape. They are very juicy, with a pleasant honey-sweet note and a rich fruity aroma. Thanks to their thin skin and balanced sugar-to-acid ratio, these tomatoes are ideal for fresh eating, salads, and gourmet dishes.
The variety produces small but viable seeds. Performs well in both open ground and greenhouse conditions. Offers stable yields and a long fruiting period. Originally sent from France, where it gained popularity among collectors for its unusual appearance and outstanding flavor.
