JALAPENO BIKER BILL'S. Hot vegetable pepper (Capsicum annuum): 10,000-20,000 SHU (Scoville Heat Units). This variety is considered a classic, created by the legendary Harley Bill Hufnagel, a famous pepper collector and biker. One of the early varieties, it allows for two harvest waves per season thanks to its fast ripening. Plant height: 50-60 cm, compact and suitable for growing in open ground, greenhouses, and tunnels. Can also be grown in pots or containers.
Fruits are oval to conical, 7-9 cm long and about 4 cm wide. Color changes from dark green to deep red when ripe. Flesh is thick, juicy, and flavorful. This pepper is perfect for fresh salads, pickling, stuffing, and preserving. The variety is characterized by high yield and substantial production per season, approximately 75 days. Originating from Mexico, it was named after the famous biker and pepper collector Bill Hufnagel, giving it a unique character.
