MAGNUM. A family heirloom from the USA. This tomato variety has gained recognition thanks to its outstanding characteristics and historical heritage. In open ground, the plants reach about 1.5 meters in height, forming strong, well-leafed bushes that require staking and pruning. The fruits are truly impressive: very large, uniform in size, with a glossy, thick skin, meaty flesh, and clearly defined ribbing.
The average fruit weight ranges from 300 to 500 grams, but in the USA, specimens weighing up to 2 kilograms or more have been recorded. Our fruits were smaller but still amazed with their size, perfect shape, and appealing appearance. The flesh is dense, rich in color, sugary, and highly aromatic, with a pronounced classic tomato flavor. There are few seed chambers and little seed content.
Thanks to its excellent flavor and market qualities, the variety is perfect for fresh consumption and market sales — the fruits retain their appearance for a long time, do not crack, and are well-suited for transportation. An ideal choice for those who appreciate true tomato giants with a rich history, superb taste, and stable productivity.
