NUITS AUSTRALES (AUSTRALIAN NIGHTS). Mid-season indeterminate tomato variety from Australia. The plants are vigorous, with strong growth, reaching a height of 1.4-1.5 meters. Leaves are large, dark green, of the potato-leaf type with broad lobes. The fruits grow in clusters of 3 to 4. Externally, they are round to slightly flattened with gentle ribbing near the stem and weigh between 140 and 300 grams. The base color is a deep red-brown with green shoulders. Inside, the gel is green and the seeds are yellowish.
This tomato stands out for its excellent flavor: bright, rich, and well-balanced, with a dominant sweetness or a pleasant sweet-and-sour profile. The flesh is dense, aromatic, with a deep, gourmet taste appreciated by connoisseurs. A universal tomato suitable for fresh consumption, sauces, juice, and paste. High and stable yields, especially early in the season. The plant performs well both in greenhouses and open ground when properly cared for.
Important: not to be confused with the Russian variety “Southern Night” — it looks similar but is determinate and behaves differently in growth.
