PEDERSEN'S BEEFSTEAK. A mid-to-late season, indeterminate tomato variety that impresses with its beauty and flavor. In open ground, plants reach about 1.8 m in height, forming strong, vigorous bushes that provide excellent protection for the fruits from sunscald. The fruits are large, weighing from 250 to 500 g, bright yellow-orange, with pronounced ribbing at the base. Occasionally, light green streaks may remain on the shoulders, adding even more charm to their appearance.
The plants are sturdy, with large, evenly distributed potato-type foliage. The flesh is dense and meaty, yet quite juicy, with a rich orange hue both inside and out. The flavor is rich, sweet, and well-balanced, without excessive acidity, featuring a distinct fruity note that fully develops at peak ripeness. This variety offers stable yields in the second half of the season and continues to produce until frost. Perfect for fresh eating, salads, juices, purées, and sauces.
