An interesting new variety. Grown outdoors in Poltava. Indeterminate with potato leaves, trained into two stems. The fruits are very beautiful: large, oval, heart-shaped, burgundy-brown in color. They are meaty, juicy, with few seeds, and have a rich, complex flavor with a strong sweet note. A wonderful variety!

For me, Tundra grew slowly at the seedling stage, set fruit slowly, and ripened slowly. It never reached the top of the greenhouse, and I trained it into two stems. The yield was average. The taste changed over time, the first fruits I tried were rather bland, but later ones were better. However, compared to other dark varieties, I’ve had tastier ones. Another downside is that it doesn’t store well and isn’t suitable for transport - it became quite soft.

Tundra grew and set fruit slowly, and also ripened slowly. The plant wasn’t tall. The flavor was average, a typical tomato taste. It didn’t particularly impress me, but it wasn’t bland either. Though a friend of mine said her Tundra was absolutely amazing! Maybe by the time mine started to ripen, I had already eaten too many tomatoes and didn’t fully appreciate the flavor. But it is a beautiful tomato!

Potato-leaf type. The plant is slender, trained to 2 stems. Fruit weight ranges from 250 to 300 grams. The fruits are heart-shaped, with a beautiful deep purple color. The flesh is dense and meaty, with few seeds. Flavor is well-balanced with a hint of spiciness.
