TIKLA SUNDARI, India. An indeterminate, mid-season variety that can rightfully be called one of the most productive of the season. In open ground, plants reach a height of 1.5-1.6 meters, forming strong, well-foliated bushes capable of supporting a large number of fruit clusters. The tomatoes are medium-sized, weighing 100-150 grams, bright red in color, with light ribbing on the surface. The fruits are low in juice and may sometimes have small cavities, but their structure is very firm and uniform.
One of the unique features of this variety is the diversity of fruit shapes: on the same plant you can find slightly round, oval, or even more elongated tomatoes, which makes the bush particularly decorative. The flesh is dense, meaty, with thick walls. Thanks to these qualities, the fruits are perfect for processing: drying, sun-drying, canning, as well as making thick sauces and pastes. The aroma is bright and rich, with classic tomato notes.
The flavor is rated at the highest level – a harmonious balance of sweetness and light acidity makes the fruits versatile in use. The main advantage of this variety is its incredible productivity and long fruiting period: the plants continue to set and ripen fruit until the very first frosts, providing a stable and abundant harvest of delicious tomatoes throughout the entire season.
